German government funds have been provided to Trade Gate so that gas can be procured and stored in gas storage facilities in the German market area (including the 7 Fields storage facility in Austria).
A close coordination was maintained with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK). After the conclusion of the contract, Trade Gate began procurement in accordance with the order.
There were more than ten interested parties and bidders who participated in the process. Availability of the contracted quantities of gas is taken care of by Trade Gate at designated storage facilities. The client and Trade Gate is already cooperating on the further procedure and the use of the contracted gas quantities.
In the supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, Trade Gate business Hub Europe will timely publish the award notice after conclusion of the framework agreement.
